SMA parking instructions and restrictions

We currently have very limited parking at the masjid due to construction and will be closing access to the parking by 12:30 pm. It is advised you park off site or in the available street parking around the masjid. The following map shows in green the roads that can be used for parking and. Please observe and obey all traffic and Parking requirements and do not park in the red zones.

Deadline Extended for ISF’s Opportunities

Islamic Scholarship Fund (ISF) is offering exciting opportunities for Muslims looking for academic scholarships and professional opportunities in the fields of policy, government, law, media, or film. ISF has extended the deadline for both the 2-month ISF Congressional Policy Summer Internship Program and the 9-month ISF Congressional Fellowship Program.

ISF’s Congressional Internship Program (2-month Summer term, remotely or in-person for a congressional office and gain policy experience. Applications are due February 14th)

ISF’s Congressional Fellowship Program (9-month paid position working on Capitol Hill. Applications are due February 28th)

ISF’s Scholarship Program (accepting applications until March 21st for the 2022-23 school year)

COVID Reminder

Given the rapid increase in COVID cases due to Omicron, please take note of the following measures and reminders:

  1. Please make sure to have masks on at all times while in the facility.

  2. If you are feeling sick, have COVID symptoms, or have been diagnosed with COVID-19 then please stay home.

  3. We strongly encourage everyone to get fully vaccinated and the booster dose.

  4. Proof of vaccination for anyone over 12 years old may be required. Please have your vaccination proof ready for our staff to verify at the entrance.

  5. We encourage high-risk individuals (65 years+ or having underlying medical conditions) to avoid congregational prayers. Per CDC data, this group is likely to get the severe illness from COVID.

  6. Please avoid shaking hands, hugging, and physical contact after prayers (even if fully vaccinated.
