Dear Sammamish and Issaquah community members

With the grace and blessings of Allah (swt) , we have started the construction of the new Sammamish Mosque. The Sammamish Muslim Association is a registered 501(c)3 non profit organization, is building the Mosque in Sammamish to benefit our community in Sammamish, Issaquah and the surrounding areas.

Alhamdulillah, the City of Sammamish has officially issued SMA all the permits required to move forward with the construction project.  This is a major milestone for our community and the expansion needed to the Sammamish Mosque.

The success of this project relies heavily on the community contribution and unity.  We ask Allah (SWT) to strengthen our community, unite us and enable us to complete this project on time for the benefit of the of the greater Muslim community.

 

Summary of the New Sammamish Mosque Project

  • Total Increase in indoor Prayer space to 6,100 sqft
  • Praying Capacity for congregational increased to encompass over 100 Sisters and 400 men
  • Expansion of the Prayer Hall for the Sisters, Families and Brothers.
  • Flexibility of main prayer hall to allow for multi-purpose use.
  • Increase in the education spaces, addition of 3 purpose-built classrooms.
  • The addition of a dedicated Moms & Tots room
  • Expansion capabilities to facilitate overflow prayer on special events.
  • Code Compliance, Safety and Structural upgrades of the existing structure.

A. The 6,000 Sq Ft Sammamish Mosque is being built at the same location.
Q. What happened since the last fundraiser - Wasn't the goal already met?
A. Alhamdulillah the last fundraiser was in 2021 and enabled us to begin the process of and complete the designs, engineering and pre-planning. It also allowed us to commence the construction.
With your generous support it was fully funded. We are now fundraising to begin the construction for the 6,000 Sq Ft Mosque.
Q. What will my donation be used for? Does it go towards administrative or overhead costs?
A. 100% Of Your Donations Go Towards the Construction Of Sammamish Mosque. Sammamish Mosque covers it's administrative and overhead costs through fundraising for Operations with the monthly Mosque donations and a committed team of donors.
Q. What is Sammamish Mosque's private data policy?
A. SMA does not share, sell, or exchange our donor's private information with anyone.
Q. Is my donation tax-deductible?
A. All donations are tax-deductible. Sammamish Mosque Association is a registered 501(c)3 with the IRS.
Q. Are donations Zakat eligible?
A. Yes. We are currently accepting Zakat, Zakat-ul-mal for this project. (Ask our Imaam for any question) .
Q. How many people have donated to this project?
A. Alhamdulillah we have already started to receive commitments and donations to the project from all over the world. We ask you to join us in contributing generously also. We ask Allah to accept everyone's good deeds and to grant them the highest levels of paradise, ameen!
